Decorate Tuscan Furniture

Tuscan furniture – Whether you have a deep interest in Tuscan furniture, an eclectic style, or simply have to find a way to work with the furniture you have. Some believe that it will create an overwhelming collection of the mess, but this is not the case as long as you approach this type of project with careful planning and creative thinking. You cannot just throw all your pieces in a room and expect it to work.

Paint the walls in the same color as the largest piece of Tuscan furniture that you have. For example, if the sofa has a turquoise frame, paint the wall the same color. If you are not a painter, apply wallpaper on the walls. Incorporate stark white hues to compensate for the bright jewel tones of Tuscan furniture. For example, if you have an emerald chair, place a beige throw pillow on top to create unity between the two parts. This also creates a Victorian or French-inspired look.

Cover side table with floral fabric and accent windows with tip coatings. If you are decorating a bedroom, with a soft chenille bedspread. Hang your collection of photos on the wall; make sure you have a variety of frames to go with mismatched Tuscan furniture. If you prefer to have a uniform color of the frames, use different sizes throughout.

Add a handmade area rug on the floor beneath the coffee table. Braided rugs are ideal, but as long as the carpet is not too modern, it will go well with the surrounding decor. Print photos in sepia and frame them for placement on your vintage cabinets and dresser. Add other accessories and collectibles on a mantelpiece. Some ideas include shadowbox with vintage jewelry and abstract artwork.
